My love for food began when I was just eight years old. Growing up, I learned to cook from my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and family friends from around the globe. My approach to cooking is all about simplicity and flavor, transforming basic ingredients into something extraordinary.

As a teenager, I lived in Oklahoma and developed a deep appreciation for BBQ and Southern-style cooking. During a family trip back east, I visited numerous restaurants across the Midwest, central, and southern states, including New Orleans, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Kansas, and St. Louis. I paid close attention to the flavors and preparation methods, storing those experiences in my mind to recreate those mouth-watering flavors in the future.

Now, I'm taking on a new challenge by venturing into catering with Slow Drawl BBQ, where I can share my passion for Southern cuisine through dishes that are both comforting and flavorful. Join us on this journey and taste the love and dedication in every bite.
